Brodens 1st outing

Believe it or not sometimes we have a nice day in June here in Arizona! We decided to walk over to the park and have a family outing, it was so much fun, especially after being stuck in the hospital for 4 days! The rest of the family was much faster at walking, but I made it there and back in a timely manner (I was very slow).

Coming Home from the hospital

Both of the kids wanted to be the ones to carry Broden out to the car... they finally settled on helping Daddy do it.
Broden was 5 lbs 12 oz when we left the hospital. He hardly fit into the car seat he was so small.

Friends that came to visit at the hospital

Jen

Jen and Jeni
Emily and her girls
Ximena and Rebeca

I have been blessed with so many wonderful friends! Thanks to all of you for your support and love! Also thank you to all of those wonderful friends who brought my family dinner while I was both in and out of the hospital! I love you guys!!!

Family at the Hospital

Auntie Amy and Tony (he is not in the picture I did not get one of him)
Daddy of course!
Grammie and Pappi (via Skype computer connection) visited from Japan at 2 am their time.
Grammie Barnette and proud brother and sister Logan and Peyton
Nana
Grandpa Todd

Our family is the best! They are so supportive. Thank you for all of your thoughts prayers and help to make Broden's arrival an easy transition for our family.

Peyton and Logan are in love with Broden!

The first thing the kids asked each time they came to visit me in the hospital was "Can I hold Broden?" Followed by "Me first... No ME first!" They can't get enough of our newest family addition, I can't blame them, he is adorable.

Broden James - a two days old. He loves to suck his thumb, so we are trying to have him suck a Binky instead... he is doing really well with the substitute.

Broden is only a few hours old. He is our little peanut.

Fathers Day

Larry's work just recently moved buildings and their desks are much smaller, resulting in less area to display his family pictures and the children's massive amounts of art work. So this year for fathers day we got him a digital frame to help with the space issue.

Little Mermaid Dance Recital

Peyton is in love with dance! She flutters all around the house and is so excited to go practice, I think it really helps that she loves the Little Mermaid too and now she get to dance to the music.

Peyton's preschool teacher was amazing this year, she even had a cake made with the kid's graduation pictures on it so they could eat their own face.
Our two graduates are so adorable!
This is Peyton's preschool graduating class 2009. Although the class is small these girls learned so much through out the year! Top: Elle, Kate, Paige. Bottom: Taytum, Charli, Peyton.
It is amazing how much Peyton loves to learn. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to home school her and Logan. Every morning she wakes up and asks "what is the game plan for today Mom?" If I have left education out of the game plan she immediately reminds me that we need to include school and reading into the daily routine. She is a little sponge.
Logan is only 2 but he wanted to graduate along with everyone else, I was really surprised that he recited the Pledge of Allegiance, sang the songs, and did Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See? in Sign Language right along with all the 4 and 5 year olds. He is growing up so fast!

My little helper

I am so thankful for Logan, he is always willing to help in the yard and around the house, he is such a special little boy and we love him so much.
