Every year our street has a Halloween block party, over the past two years it has grown. Not all of these children live on our street, but they live near by.
Peyton started off wanting to be Hannah Montana but when I took her to get her costume she changed her mind the second she saw those wings! She came up with combining the idea of a rock star (Hannah) and a fairy. Thus making her a rock star fairy! I made the skirt, and found some fake eye lashes that were purple and sparkly. We braided her hair and spray painted it pink and added a fake pink and purple hair clip. She Rocked!!!
Logan, too was going to be something completely different he was going to be a Army Man, but after seeing a Lightning McQueen costume at the Disney Store, he was determined to be a race car driver! And the best part the $70 costume was on sale $10, major score for me. He was so cute! At the last minute he decided to add his tricycle to the costume (making it his car). A button on the costume when pushed made lights flash and a race car zooming noise. He pushed the button and rode that bike with speed. He was more interested in the race than the candy. It was so much fun watching him.
